The Bryan Singer Timeline: a History of Allegations and Defenses, from Troubled Films to Sexual Assault Claims

just a reminder

Hey, so I’m desperate for woman-directed film recs that are a) some combo of light/comedic/fun/high energy/uplifting or at least not heavy, violent & depressing and b) streamable/accessable/inexpensive

I want to get to 52 films by women this year but most nights I am just not in the mood for an angry slow burn about sex or poverty or motherhood or racial violence u kno???? This is not my first year doing this 52 films challenge so there’s a chance I’ve already seen what u might suggest but I’m gonna count rewatches this year so still send them bc…. when I’m picking out a movie in the evening with my bf and a glass of wine and a pizza I’d like to not spend an hour trying to look for something that’s not gonna make us sad for three days. Like I’m gonna watch a variety but I need balance. Should I be signing up for any streaming services that will have more options for me??? Plz help.

not only is Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride (1998) the best Disney film of all time, it also is the only good Disney movie at all

Y'all really don’t think we live in a cyberpunk dystopia straight out of the brain of some unimaginative crusty dude back in the 80’s??? Y'all are LITERALLY buying each other kits for Christmas that have you voluntarily mailing in your DNA to huge corporations that file away your genetic profile as data to be bought and sold to and by whomthefuckever and you don’t bat an eye bc it comes in a cute box and has heartwarming tv ads!!!
